A COMEDY
In the working-class Crompton household, the father, Rafe attempts to rule with an iron fist, while his wife, Daisy is a more gentle and understanding presence. Rafe’s methods of dealing with his children continually rub them the wrong way, particularly getting under the skin of his rebellious daughter, Hilda. As Rafe and Hilda lock horns, their conflict becomes a battle of wills that affects the whole family.
